Titans FC 0 vs Champions FC 7, May 21st 2018

Coach Sheldon Hinkson’s Champions FC 2003 boys team had one thing on their minds heading into the match against the Titans on the 21st after locking up the division title earlier in the week. That one thing was to secure 3rd place for coach Emily Frandsen’s  Champions FC 2003 boys team. Throughout the season, coach Frandsen’s team had consistently delivered losses to teams that would potentially challenge Coach Hinkson for the title. “We felt it was important to do all we could to secure 3rd place for the other team as payback for always putting in the work when we needed them to,” said Coach Hinkson.  The boys demonstrated their understanding of Champions system of play by performing with precision, patience, and perseverance as they commenced to dismantle the Titan’s defense in a 7-0 win.

This essentially is our home tournament and as such we should do all we can to make it a success. The tournament runs from June 27th to the 30th. We will post more information regarding registration and volunteer signup in the near future.  Please start making arrangement to participate.

Great start to second half of the 2017 / 2018 season!

What a great start! Both 2003 boys teams brought home the wins:

CFC-03B-SH and CFC-03B-EF brought home 3 points each in the run for the division title.  Could there be a 1, 2 punch delivered from Champions Fútbol Club? Let’s hope so.  Both teams play this Monday and hopefully, no point will be left on the table. Good look boys!

Welcome aboard Andrew!

Please join me in welcoming Andrew Mendoza to CFC-03B-SH. Although Andrew doesn’t have a lot of experience playing the beautiful game, he is a top-notch athlete and will prove to be an invaluable asset to the team. Andrew will be added to the defensive mid-field during the second half of the 2017-2018 season.

Welcome aboard Andrew.

New talent has arrived at CFC.

Champions Fútbol Club is pleased to welcome David Hernandez to CFC-03B-SH (one of our 2003 boys team). David comes to us from California and is part of our recruiting effort to sure up and add depth to our defensive squad. We have high hopes and grand expectations of Hernandez. The potential fullback has settled in well during our training session and looks to a positive addition to our team. Welcome aboard.
